Hang Tough are printing and framing specialists, who on occasion would hold exhibitions in their studio. In early 2021 the company expanded and rented a space in the center of Dublin city (Coppinger Row). For this space they wanted to create a new identity to accompany the existing Hang Tough Brand – Hang Tough Contemporary. Hang Tough Contemporary would be the name on all exhibitions and exhibition spaces going forward, helping to distinguish the different parts of the business.
I was lucky enough to create this new identity and work on a variety of successful shows which ran throughout 2021 under the Hang Tough Contemporary name. I really enjoyed this project as it allowed for a lot of play, and there was a lot of gorgeous imagery to work with, due to the subject matter mainly consisting of Artists’ work.
This project involved generating social media templates, printed ephemera and designing and developing a webpage and virtual exhibition catalogues. I was also able to work on window decals and signage for the exhibition spaces.
